a day with Eli!

Sam and Eli have been great friends since they were in Mrs. Meehan’s kindergarten class at Butterworth Elementary School in Moline, IL. They have stayed in touch – with the help of their moms – ever since. Sam still has a drawing from Eli, drawn in kindergarten, hanging on his bulletin board. This week Sam and Eli exchanged mementos - Sam gave Eli a Cub’s hat signed by him. Eli signed the “I Love New York” T-shirt that he gave him last year.
